The IHS Markit Eurozone Composite PMI was revised higher to a five-month high of 51.3 in January 2020 from a preliminary estimate of 50.9 and compared to the previous month's final 50.9. The IHS Markit Eurozone Manufacturing PMI dropped to 45.9 in December 2019 from 46.9 in the previous month, well below market expectations of 47.3, a preliminary estimate showed. Output contracted by the most since October 2012 and employment fell at the fastest pace for more than seven years. The IHS Markit Eurozone Services PMI was revised slightly lower to 52.6 in February 2020 from a preliminary estimate of 52.8 and compared to January's 52.5.
